Leicestershire Organic Group has been meeting, learning and campaigning on Organic Issues since 1948. Our main activities at present are to hold monthly meetings from September to April, along with a range of summer visits, excursions, and stalls at various shows/exhibitions

PROGRAMME OF EVENTS
WINTER MEETINGS 2006-7

Winter events take place on at Knighton Parish Hall, Brinsmead Road Leicester, (see map) on the second Friday of each month from September to April. Meetings are free to members, £1 to non-members, who are most welcome. Talks are followed by drinks and a small range of wholefood refreshments, for which there is a small charge.

Friday, November 10th 2006 Talk on Herbs by Lynne Tan-Watson

Friday, December 8th 2006 Talk on the Donkey Sanctuary by Jeanette Pearson

Friday, January 12th 2007 A Chance for members to share Organic and related topics and issues

Friday, February 9th 2007 ‘Wildlife through the Seasons’, an illustrated talk by local wildlife expert, Colin Green.

Friday, March 9th 2007 ‘Health Matters - Mind body integration’ a talk by Vicki Marston

Friday, April 21st 2007 ‘Unusual Vegetables’ - a talk by Sally Cunningham, a regular writer in ‘Organic Way’ Magazine.

 

 

During the summer months a programme of visits, walks, etc., is arranged. You are always welcome to bring friends along to a winter meeting at a cost of £1, or better still, encourage them to join.
